A short list, checked by hand.

Ovelion Decor is an independent guide to sculptural wooden chairs, benches and stools: pieces where the wood itself is the design. Right now that’s 37 pieces from 17 makers, each with its price copied from the seller’s own page and dated (October 1, 2026).

How a piece gets listed

• It’s solid wood, and the form is the point: carved, steam-bent, joined or sculpted, not a generic dining chair.
• It ships as furniture. Nothing on this site needs a contractor to install.
• We can link to the exact product page on the maker’s or retailer’s own site, so you can see their photos, options and current price.
• We record the price, material and dimensions exactly as the seller lists them, with the date we checked. If a seller’s page stops working, the piece comes off.

How we make money

When you click through to a seller and buy, we may earn a commission. That never changes the price you pay, and it never decides what we list or in what order. If you send a commission brief or a designer request, we may later be paid by the maker or designer you choose to work with, and only after you’ve agreed to the introduction. The details are on how we make money.

What we won’t do

• Sell placement, rankings, “featured” slots or sponsored pages.
• Write or copy reviews. We don’t show star ratings we haven’t verified, and we don’t pretend to have tested a chair we haven’t sat in.
• Use makers’ photographs. The drawings here are our own illustrations of each piece’s form and wood.
• List a designer who hasn’t approved their own profile, or pass on your details without asking you first.

Corrections

Prices move and pieces get discontinued. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us through the brief form (choose “Something else”) and we’ll fix it. Makers who’d like a piece added or changed can use the same form.
